Lecture: English Folk Traditions

The Swedish Adult Education Centre in Helsinki, arbis arranges a lecture in English:

English Folk Traditions - Spring and the Coming Summer

This is the busiest season for folk customs. The talk will cover a variety of traditions from Egg-rolling in Ulverston to Well Dressing in Derbyshire. The program will finish withdancing for the season – Cotswold
Morris style, as done by a local group – see http://helsinki-morrisers.tripod.com.
